Community Care Project

Background and aims of the project

The project was established in response to an identified need to target the elderly and housebound in the Greater Ballymurphy/Upper Springfield area of west Belfast. We aim to develop a community- based response to meeting local need.  By addressing issues such as social exclusion and vulnerability, CCS hopes to create a safer environment for those living in isolation by providing a daily home visitation service.
